Project LINK: Sunshine & Rainbows Day Care Center

I volunteered at the Sunshine & Rainbows Day Care Center in Joliet, IL. This was a really great experience for me because I got to do what I love most, working with children. They have a lot of great programs for the children to do. For example, while I was in one of the classrooms another class that I had been with before, which they called the enrichment program, did a swimming class. They have classrooms for children of different ages and it was really neat to see how the teachers taught lessons. I got to read two books with the one class as well as help them make weather bookmarks. Overall it was an awesome experience and I hope I will get the opportunity to volunteer more.
